Wood Floors Saved by SERVPRO

The key to saving wood floors is to get SERVPRO of Cary / Morrisville / Apex to your home as fast as possible. Wood floors are porous and will take on a lot of water. They usually stay at 20% water saturation but at 100% they will start to buckle and warp.

Speed is the Key

Even with some cupping of wood floors SERVPRO can save the material from needing to be replaced if we can extract water and add air movement. The main concern is having mold growth in between the grooves of the wood that allow airflow underneath. It is the hardest place to remove water.
